Welcome to The ER: Seven Campaigns Are Now Live at TheER.org
All in one place so you can activate, participate, update, and share.
Author's note: Subscribers paid for the work below, along with two GoFundMe campaigns, the Buy Me a Coffee shop, and the web store.
The Existentialist Republic has launched TheER.org, a website for our campaigns. The site lists the campaigns that are underway, and each one has its own page with the date of its last update, its current status, a link to the article that explains it, and any documents you would need to get after it and become a proper thorn in the side of fascism.
The ER is the activism hub for those who read the news here at The Existentialist Republic. Some folks read the articles and no more, and that’s perfectly ok. Then maybe they start participating in some of the calls to action at the end of our articles, and thousands of those reading this have participated in our campaigns to equip activists with police reports for all 50 state criminal codes, and guidance on how to file them, over the potential criminal misconduct under Elon Musk and Edward “Big Balls” Coristine at the Department of Government Efficiency. Thousands of you also joined in after I filed a misconduct complaint against Chief Justice John Roberts over his wife’s wildly inflated eight-figure commissions from law firms appearing before her husband’s court.
We now have seven counties with people equipped with their petitioner kits to convene grand juries to criminally investigate the DOGE conduct. That’s seven of the 377 counties where citizens can petition for a grand jury and a criminal investigation. Each of those counties gets to convene its own grand jury, so we don’t need all 377 to do this. We aim to convene grand juries to investigate the criminal conduct in every one of them. If you live in Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota or Oklahoma, the current kits and the sign-up form are both on the site. And if you live in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, and want to help gather signatures to do the same over Attorney General Todd Blanche’s potential witness bribery and evidence tampering, then good news: you don’t need to be an attorney. You just need to be a registered voter and resident of Santa Fe County, and the volunteer sign-up is on the site too.
The other campaigns on the site:
The disbarment complaint against Blanche in New York, for knowingly disobeying court orders in the Epstein files case, went to the state’s grievance committee on Sept. 7, 2026, with a supplemental filing on Sept. 24, 2026. The committee hasn’t published a decision.
The Make Corrupt Politicians Pay Act, our model bill that lets you sue politicians for insider trading, went to all 3,502 Democratic state legislators and every Democratic governor in September, and we’re setting up meetings with the offices that wrote back while maintaining ongoing efforts to get positive contact with every single Democratic state legislator nationwide.
The Martin Act is New York’s securities fraud law, and the complaint filed under it asks New York Attorney General Letitia James’s office to investigate Jared Kushner and Affinity Partners, his investment firm. The page links the state’s form if you want to file your own.
We sent Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty a prosecution memorandum for charging ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who shot and killed Renee Good in Minneapolis in January 2026. She hasn’t charged him. You can keep the campaign pushing for justice to be served.
All that and more at TheER.org.
The police report letters against DOGE go back to our Feb. 16, 2026, article, which showed that every state can investigate and prosecute the people who ran DOGE under its own criminal code. Readers used the templates in it to file more than 1,000 criminal complaints against DOGE by March 30, 2026, and in our follow-up campaign that summer they wrote to prosecutors and attorneys general in all 50 states by July 10, 2026.
On March 30, 2026, I wrote, “We are building a database of every response received and we want yours.” That database is on the site now. Every state page has a form, so if you filed a report or sent a letter at any point since February 2026, log it there and paste in what the office said back. Once we’ve stripped out anything personal, the reply goes on the record for your state.
In the coming months we aim to build that database out nationwide, covering the responses constituents get from an official on every issue we campaign on. Constituents can then hand the record to their neighbors and to whoever runs against that official next, and say to the official, “Here is your ER record on constituent response,” issue by issue. Ideally, if we can’t embarrass and shame politicians who ignore or mislead their constituents, we can at least ensure swift and resounding electoral consequences for them. Either way, it’s a win.
Every template on the site cites the statute or court record it quotes. We do this as activists and journalists, and nothing on the site is legal advice.
Until now, each campaign’s documents went out with the article that announced it, and the state-by-state DOGE letters lived in a comment section. Now anyone who wants in on one of these campaigns can find it in one place, with the current documents, all for free. Thank you to everyone in this community for making this happen. Let’s get after it. - Chris
An important note: Our volunteers and I do what we can for free. Paid subscriptions cover everything else, and they are what keep the kits, the letters, the filings, the model legislation and the articles coming. Don’t let this be the reason you miss a meal or are late on rent. But if this work helps you and you can become a subscriber, you’re the reason more of it happens.
